DAY 1. TRANSFER IN - INTERPRETATION CENTER - LA LOBERIA
Welcome to Galapagos! Our guide awaits us at the airport to transfer us to the hotel and in the afternoon we will meet such an interesting place that will inform us about the natural and human history of the islands ... Do you know how many inhabitants there are in Galapagos and which islands did Charles Darwin visit? Then we will continue to a special place to see sea lions in particular. Accommodation in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.
DAY 2. KICKER ROCK B/BL
We will sail on a small boat near the west coast of San Cristobal until we reach a natural aquarium that we will explore while snorkeling. Big schools of fish, sea turtles, rays, white or black fin sharks are easy to find, these are species that live in this fantastic place and after this experience we will rest in a paradisiacal beach.
Accommodation in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.
DAY 3. (AM) TRANSFER TO SANTA CRUZ – HIGHLANDS - ECCD or TORTUGA BAY B/L
It will be worth navigating with the first sun rays as we arrive to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz and we will see the legendary giant tortoises that walk freely through the humid zone of the island in search for food and water. In the afternoon we can learn about the hard work that The Galapagos National Park and The Charles Darwin Research Station have done to preserve the unique species of the islands or we can rest in one of the best beaches of the archipelago.
DAY 4. UNINHABITED ISLAND B/L
As in the documentaries ... we will sail on a mini yacht to visit an island where only the famous Galapagos animals live in their natural state. Being able to contemplate them from a few meters for several minutes will help us understand why Galapagos is a natural laboratory.
The islands to choose from are:
North Seymour: nesting area of blue-footed boobies, frigate birds: common and magnificent, and other species.
South Plaza: the home of the Galapagos land iguanas and several seabirds such as the singular forked gull and the sublime tropical bird.
Bartholomew: this island is an icon of Galapagos! Here we will see how the process of formation of the islands is and the first small inhabitants who dare to fight to survive on petrified lava. At the top we will have one of the best landscapes of the archipelago and enjoy a fantastic snorkeling.
Whatever the destination we will have a walk and snorkeling.
Return in the afternoon to the hotel in Puerto Ayora.
DAY 5. (AM) TRANSFER TO ISABELA - (PM) TINTORERAS ISLET B
Arrive at the magnificent village of Puerto Villamil to visit the Flamingo lagoon and the important breeding of giant tortoises with almost flattened carapaces. Surrounding the coast it is possible to observe blue-footed boobies, pelicans and penguins; also marine iguanas. Snorkeling will be an activity that will fascinate us because it is the ideal place where it is possible to see sea turtles and various types of tropical fish.
DAY 6. SIERRA NEGRA VOLCANO B/BL
Walk on the edge of the largest and most complete volcanic caldera of the archipelago, see formations of petrified lava in the form of waves or black waterfalls contrasted by the reddish volcanic soil and a wonderful view of nearby islands, is what awaits us this day.
