DAY 1. SANTA CRUZ - TRANSFER TO ISABELA – TINTORERAS
In the morning we will take the speedboat (public) that will take us to Isabela, the largest island of the archipelago. They will be waiting for us there to visit the Tintoreras islet. Surrounding the coast it is possible to observe blue-footed boobies, pelicans and penguins (according to the season) plus marine iguanas. Snorkeling will be an activity that will fascinate us.
Accommodation in Puerto Villamil, at the hotel of our choice.
DAY 2. TUNNELS OR SIERRA NEGRA VOLCANO - FLIGHT TO SAN CRISTOBAL B
This day, in the morning we can make a fascinating snorkeling excursion to Cabo Rosa (The Tunnels) or a walk on the edge of the largest volcano in the Galapagos, Sierra Negra.
Walk to the edge of the largest and most complete volcanic caldera of the archipelago, surrounded by guava trees that attract Darwin's finches, who accompany us along the way. See basaltic black lava formations contrasted by the coppery volcanic soil and a wonderful view of nearby islands, this is what awaits us at SIERRA NEGRA VOLCANO.
CABO ROSA is a labyrinth made up of arches and volcanic tunnels whose cusps emerge from the sea to be habitat for cacti, mangroves, blue-footed boobies, terns among other species. Not to mention that portentous sea turtles travel in its transparent and calm waters. During the snorkeling we will be able to see schools of tropical fish, possibly sharks, rays and seahorses.
In the afternoon we will take our flight to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, the capital of Galapagos on San Cristobal Island, while we travel, if the weather favors us we can enjoy a wonderful view! Accommodation at the hotel of our choice.
DAY 3. LOBOS ISLAND OR KICKER ROCKS B/BL
This morning we can visit one of these two wonderful places (subject to availability):
In a small boat we will sail near the west coast of San Cristobal until we reach a natural aquarium that we will explore while snorkeling. Great schools of fish, sea turtles, rays, white or black fin sharks are species that live in this fantastic place called Kicker Rock (Leon Dormido). After this experience we will rest in a paradisiacal beach.
A small remnant of land where the frigates, blue footed boobies, marine iguanas and the graceful sea lions coexist forming a small paradise called Isla Lobos.
We will walk along a rocky path contemplating these species. Then, when swimming near the coast of this islet we can find the small and playful sea lions.
In the afternoon we will have time to walk through the picturesque town of Puerto Baquerizo or visit our own Cerro Tijeretas or Punta Carola.
Accommodation at the hotel of our choice.
